Twitching and pain in both thumbs

The following comes and goes not more than a few seconds muscle spasms in my feet, calves tingle all the way up to my knee, twitching over my entire body when at rest including eye twitching, real ache in both arms(this has improved since being on Lyrica), both hands tingle and numb some, thumb hurts sometimes when using it and NOT at all other times and the other thumb is beginning to hurt (the thumb issue really is worrying me), slight numbness in my cheek, ear and part of my head will tingle, foot numbness/tingling.  Again only a few seconds at a time for these issues.  Twitching in my calves is much more than any of the other issues

No problems eating, talking, or with leg or arm strength.  Neuro specifically said I did not have ALS (due to Leg EMG in June) but I continue to have additional symptoms as the above did not develop over night.  I still work out aggressively on a recumbent bike.  All diabetes test are on the border of being pre diabetic but I have no other symtoms.  I am on Lyrica 75 MG x 4 daily.  Does this sould like ALS or have any of you experienced these symptoms.

Thanks for the reply, I am to see Neuro soon for Arm EMG.  The thumb is getting worse daily.  I'll keep you updated.

Hi,

How are you?
The symptoms that you are describing can be due to excessive anxiety and fatigue, and depression.
Since ALS has been ruled out, other causes can include fibromyalgia, Vitamin B deficiency, lyme disease and MS.
A thorough clinical examination and tests like MRI and CT scan will help in making the diagnosis. Please consult an experienced neurologist. Take care!
