Ulner nerve and tingly feet

I was lifting weights in a gym class over a month ago and felt my forearm shaking. I was overexerting myself.  After my pinky, and ring finger felt numb.  I would rest it and it would get better for a bit.  If I do certain things it feels worse.  I believe this is my ulner nerve. No more of that gym class obviosly.  Last night both my feet got pins and needles. It went away after a few seconds of shaking. I first thought this was unrelated, but I called my doctor and mentioned both things.  He worried me with talk of MRI and MS.  Could these be related?  What could it be?

Yes they can be related and probably is.

It appears that you may have nerves being pinched in the spinal column.
The little and ring finger problem can be from trapped or pinched nerves in the neck.

The pins and needles in your feet can be from compression of nerves in the lower back.

The MRI scan will be able to show where the underlying problem is that is causing your symptoms.

In the meantime do not do any physical activities that could make the situation worse.  Your doctor should be able to give you advice with regard to pain relief and whether anti-inflammatory medications would be suitable for you.

Best wishes
