Here is the new situation. 2 weeks ago, I had a severe headache, lasted about 3 days, and lost half of my vision for about an hour (migraine aura). BUT, the strange thing was, my left arm was tingling and numb. Well it is almost 2 weeks later, no headache, but my arm is still tingly and numb. I continue to get some strange vision loss, mainly out of my left eye at times. I am very light headed, dizzy and now my leg is starting to feel tingling also. Same side as the arm, as well as parts of my left face. I went to the ER 1 week ago, had Catscan, MRI and MRA. All normal, except for some area that the dye was heavy in. I have an appt this Monday with my PCP. However, my blood count, I/R was 3.0 at the ER last week, and today is was 4.0, even after lowering the dose this week. The coumadin nurse called, and asked what was going on. I told her, and she said go to the ER. I cant go because I am home with my 5 kids and husband not home until tomorrow.
Any thoughts about this??
THanks!
I am confused...u were told to go to the ER because of the headaches?...do u have nearby realitives?....friends?to me if u were told to go by the nurse, I would like eto know y....and if it could wait......I am not qualified to say medically what is going on, but find someone to watch the kids or call the nurse back and ask what u can do in the meantime.....
?....could the coumadin be causing the symptoms??
