Ventricles in head are slightly enlarged

by ambtay79, Apr 24, 2007 12:00AM
Hi, I have a almost 2 year old son and at his last doctor appt the doctor was a little concearned about his head being a little larger than normal. We had a MRI done and according to that they said his VENTRICLES were slightly enlarged but the fluid was flowing thru fine. There is no water on the brain either. But lots of parents I have talked to said they have experienced the same things and their child has a shunt now. Maybe their child has lots of other problems with the head. I was just wondering if any other parents have ever heard of such ventricles being enlarged but fluid is flowing thru fine.. Thanks
