My 2 month old was recently diagnosed with what he called "visualVisual acuity test motor apraxia" (well, the doctor suspects it is that). His description of the disorderAdjustment disorder Anorexia nervosa Asperger syndrome Autism Autoimmune disorders Bipolar disorder Bipolar disorder Bleeding disorders Borderline personality disorder Bulimia Chronic motor tic disorder was that the child can see things, but there is a condition with his brain that does not allow him to process the information that he is seeing- that is why he doesn't really make eye contact for very long, or gazes "through" you. He also said that this is related to depth-perception problems. My son doesn't reach for objects at all and the Dr said he wouldn't do that... I would like to know if anyone out there has experienced this and I would like to know what to expect as far as prognosis, further evaluation, forms of treatment, etc.
