Weakness and twitching

For the past month, my left eye has been twitching.  At first, I had assumed it was caused by fatigue but now, I'm not so sure.  A few weeks ago, I was holding a bottle of ice tea and simply dropped it.  I had no muscle tone in my left hand and arm.  It still feels week now.. sometimes heavy.  I've also been experiencing some chest and left shoulder pain kind of radiating back and forth for the past little while.  I'm scheduled for a neurological CAT scan on the 8th of January, 2008 so I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance in the meantime.

If anyone has any idea as to what might be causing this or if there is cause for alarm, please let me know.

Thanks a bunch.

MizKel

I have to wait until January because the health care situation in Quebec is absolutely atrocious and the waiting lists are ridiculously long.
