eyelid wont open

For the last two years i have had trouble with both my eyelids opening. I have had botox a few times. I have had my eyelids cut to a smaller size with no improvement. I have to open my eyes with my fingers. I wear sunglasses at all times. My eyes are shut closed so tight. I have to use every muscle in my face to try and get them open. I dont want to stay like this.

Hey vortiz,
The blepharospasm dx-as mentioned by Dr Sharma- is the most likely one and the least useful for treatment options ( to my opinion), as it only offers descriptive value  on the surface of the issue, and a variety of suggested treatments that are only "skin deep".
If you are open to non-traditional alternative approaches-non invasive and drug free- then you can look into the protocol of "Allergy Antidotes". There's some revolutionary work being done with Autism, ADHD and other
disorders that have a connection with parts of the brain that are out of sync. The imbalance maybe causing quite a disturbance to the point of non-recognition of the particular part of the brain and thus rejection initiated by the surrounding neurons. With the "Allergy Antidotes" treatment (This is within the scope of Energy Medicine) the imbalance gets restored and the connection re-established.
A practitioner or Doctor trained in "Allergy Antidotes" will be able to help you with this. Search for your area. If you have difficulty, then search: Sandi Radomski-(ND and originator of this).
She's one of the top experts in this field of Energy medicine.
Wishing you well!
Niko

I was diagnosed, a few times. All were different. One neurolgist said it was a nerve in my brain and suggest going in and paralizing the nerve completely. Another suggest cutting on top of my forehead towads the hair line and pullling my skin up. He also suggested chemotherapy. I have had tear tubes implanted in my tear ducts.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Dear Vortiz, welcome to the medhelp forum. I understand your anxieties and situation. You have most likely a condition called benign essential blepharospasm. Under stress, fatigue and irritants, there is an involuntary and sustained contraction of muscles surrounding the eyes. The general stages of therapy include magnesium chloride supplementation, botulinum toxin injections and shortening of muscles or combination is required to relieve spasm of orbicularis muscle of upper eyelid to enable contraction of the eyelid elevator muscle. This has some failure rates. There is an association of eyelid droop also. In case botox injctions have failed to create the desired effect, your doctor needs to differentiate whether this is due to failure of botox to relieve squeezing or if eyelid opening is the problem. Avoiding sun exposure may help. Wishing you all the best.

Hey vortiz.
Welcome to the forum.
I can understand why you do not want to stay like this.
Hang in there.
Have you been diagnosed yet?
Have you done any Tests for basal ganglia function?
(the part of the brain for co-ordination of movement)
for any possible lesions and neurotransmitter activity.
have you had any tests for deficiencies that may be leading to
such issues? Do you have any relatives with similar issues
(genetic predisposition).
Have you considered alternative therapies?
How are your stress levels now and just before all this started?
Please post again soon
Wishing you well,
Niko
