What works for neuropathy pain?

I have burning pain in my feet and this device is supposed to help.  I have been through the website for the "Rebuilder" and can see nothing negative, but who knows until you try it.  I am tired of Neurontin, Pamelor and Cymbalta.  I want to fix the problem, not mask it.  I have also read that some vitamins - methyl B12 and alpha lipoic acid are helpful.  I am willing to try just about anything.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Should I go to Johns Hopkins and get a skin biopsy to check for small fiber neuropathy?  Mine is idiopathic -not diabetic, not toxicity from vitamins or other toxins.  Every test has come up normal - MRIs, Lumbar punctures, bloodwork etc.  HELP

I was on LYRICA.  400mg. It mde all the neuro9 symptoms go awasy.  It made my brain fo to oatmeal.
I am on clonazapam/cloopin as well.  2 .5mg daily

I disconinued lymica.
I am on 4x 300mg leurontin someitmes when I cant slleep, one more.
Water used to help. Hose over my legs was gteat

Thank you - I will check that article out:)  I am taking gabapentin already and I'm not sure that it's doing anything.  thanks again for the replies!

Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum has written several books about fatigue and about pain, and his website at endfatigue has most of the information.
He has several very helpful suggestions for neuropathy in "Effective Treatment for Neuropathic (Nerve) Pain."

If you do an internet search for the title of the article and his name, you'll find it easily.

Ther is some evidence that gabapentin or drugs in that family may help neuropathic pain.
