Why is all this happening??

I am 18 years old and I have not been able to sleep worth a crap it takes ever bit of 4-5 hours after I have laid down for me to fall asleep. I am always tired during the day, I'm shaky, I keep having troubles with  my knees and sometimes they give out, if i am just trying to text or write my hand is always shaking. At night I cant fall asleep unless i am dead tired and i just pass out i have a constant twitching under the skin in my leg if i move to try to get it to go away it either continues or moves to another location. My legs drive me crazy at night I can never get the comfortable. I get random headaches that i never used to get sometime they last for a few seconds and other for hours...I don't know what to do. I am taking med that is for my depression and it has been working for my mood and sleeping until about a month ago and all this started. I am back to always being cranky and feeling like I have no energy to do anything....I have a 2 year old daughter I need to keep up with I cant be feeling drained and irritated all the time. Can anyone help??

Hello, Thank you for posting your question to the forum .Constant twitching appears when the muscle contracts on its own (without nerve stimulation).  Most of the times these symptoms occur without any underlying disorder & they are not harmful or may appear after anxiety, hormonal disorder viral illness or long-term illness. However, sometimes this muscle twitching appears as atrophy and weakness of muscle as well. Most likely cause of this twitching with weakness/atrophy of muscle can be when the nerve supplying to muscles is not functioning properly due to any neurological disorder. If you suffer continuous weakness and notice reduced strength of muscle bulk in areas, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the possibilities here. Hope this information proves helpful to you.

you sound like your allergic to your meds. Get to your doc. If he refuses to change them wean yourself SLOWLY and you will be ok. However I don't know why you take them, thats why you you need to consult him. They sound like side effects to me.
