URGENT - PLEASE HELP

My sister has been sick since 2004.  Problem: Left side of face became numb and swollen - gums, palate, half of tongue and left cheek up to her head. Constant tightening and squeezing feeling. Numbness etc. never goes away. Swelling always remains. Also has burning in her mouth - can't eat because it burns. It is NOT Trigeminal.
She has been to over 30 doctors including UCLA, Cedars-Sinai in LA. Gone to 2 Maxafacial specialist in LA. Several dentists specialists. Has had over 50 tests done. All tests come back negative including MRI.
Can you please help.  Thank you.

Hi,

It is difficult to give an opinion without a clinical exam and looking at the test results.

These symptoms could be some sort of an allergic reaction. Chances are more if she has a positive history of allergies. Another possibility is chronic sinusitis which can cause similar symptoms over a period of time.

Hope this helps!
