Zoloft and Brain function

I read that Zoloft can cause permanent brain damage/memory loss after long term use... is this true?? That's scary...

I too have memory loss.  It is so embarassing.  I feel like im senile. Im going to my doctor to see if there is any other drug that will not affect my memory but still works for depression.

I can only speak from my personal experience, but I've been taking Zoloft for 10 years and I have none of the problems you brought up in your post.  Your best bet for correct information, however, is to talk to the prescribing doc about your concerns, and they can tell you precisely how Zoloft affects diff people.  You can also look up side effects of Zoloft in a general search from your home page.  But talking to your doc is my best advice toyou.
