back of head headache

mt head hurts at night if i sleep on my back but goes away if i lay on my side,face under eye is numb a lot

It sounds as if you might have some neck involvement going on in your positional headache.  I am very concerned though about the numbness under your eye.  I believe you should get referred to a neurologist about this as soon as possible to get this investigated.  

Do you clench your teeth or grind at night?  Since the numbness started, have you had an MRI of your head?  Has anyone taken any pictures of your cervical spine (neck)?
