benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome

I've been free from benzodiazepine (alprozalam) for 3 years now but continue to experience withdrawal effects of benzodiazepine. These symptoms include aggression, agitation, hostility and twitching muscles. What can I do to get rid of these symptoms?

If you have been off this for 3 yrs you are no longer experiencing any wd symptoms.  I know there is rebound anxiety that can come into play but i would think even this is too long a time frame for this.  Please get to your doctor and tell him/her what is going on.  Are you taking any other meds or supplements?  Let us know how you turn out.       sara

I disagree.  I have been off of Klonopin for over 2 years and am still having withdrawal effects.  For some people, withdrawals can last for YEARS.  See the following:

You need to see a doctor, these drugs are well out if tour system, you must have been on these drugs for a reason and your GP will know your history....
