brain injury due to lack of oxygen

by babe11_11, Apr 23, 2009 11:43PM
my cousin who is a quadreplegic pateint  was admitted to the hospital for a left  lung collapse and during extubation she was attacked by spasm and deprived of oxygen for less then 5 mins.

she is undergoing repeated collapse on left lung and am still trying to find out which scale she is in the coma range.

she is blinking her eye, moves and closes while sleeping, responds to pain and i think can be graded as 9-11 in the glasgow scale, please can you give me more information on the prognossis and management.

i am positive and will fight until the last.
