can water seep in to lungs from throat

today i tried to hold a liquid in my throat like i did not gulp it when i took it in the  mouth ,  it remained in my throat and then i  felt as if it was seeping below automatically then after less than a minute i gulped it down, the quantity was very little but then i felt some very strong and unknown sensation in my body and may be something happened in the lungs,  then  i felt a little heavyness and very very very mild pain in the chest and some discomfort there  can you please tell me if the liquid has seeped into the lungs and if it is serious, thanks

today only i have been able to access this site hence posting today as i tried after receiving the mail but i could not access the site.
i did it on 28th so "much earlier" may not be applicable and then there is no discomfort-- yesterday and today, on that day it was there so i wrote.

Hello.

Your concern may not be the reality. If liquid was in fact seeping in to the lungs, you would have had problems much earlier with lung infections. The liquid may have entered the side pockets of the throat when you held on.
