This brought on severe headaches and vommiting. After 24 hours of this, the shunt was programmed down to 90. This provided partial relief and the vommiting subsided. We have had her home for 2 days now. She continues to have pain, but it is managable with Tylenol. She is easily fatigued and complains of being"very tired" She also is very irritable.
Question:
1. Is my surgeon trying to expand her collasped ventricle?
2. Do I need to bring her back to the hospital now, or is this what can be expected during this process?
3. Can a surgery installing a shunt oin a different ventricle solve this issue?
