cortical dysplasia

Could someone please provide me with some answers as to what does mygrational cortical dysplasia of the frontal lobes cause. There appears to be no deffinate diagnosis of symptoms? My daughter who is fourteen attends a school for moderate learning difficulties. And is doing quite well however she does have problems concentrating for long periods of time and sometimes she acts inappropriately such as shouting when she is outside for no apparent reason or making strange noises, She also has a very nasel speech and it is difficult to understand what she is saying. she breathes through her mouth and had an adectomy removal of adanoids and insersion of grommets at the age of four years of age. She has recieved speech therapy ever since but to no avail she has a rather high palet and I wish to know could her nasally sounding speech be caused by her cortical dysplasia or could there be some other  reason for her speech problems.
