cramping extremities

cramping extremities

I've been experiencing severe cramps? in my inner legs from ankle to groin. The area tightens up and the pain is excruciating. I' have a hx of cramping but this is over the top. It got really bad post bilateral partial knee replacement(medial). Can there be an association? However, I am taking zinc, magnisium, calcium, and potassium.  Doesn't seem to help. I'm also experiencing cramping in my feet and hands the toes and thumb contract and I'm noticing that the left side of my body is cramping more than the right. Any suggestions? I really need to start somewhere.  After my knee surgery I was given Quinine sulfate and it was immediate relief but my new physican didn't want to give it to me  Many thanks
