I have had intermittent attacks of crushing pain in both biceps for several years starting in the early 1990s.
Some years ago I was diagnosed with an Atrial Septal Defect which was closed using an "Amplazer " device in 1998 amd this was thought to have been the cause of the pain which at the time was accompanied by an irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure
My blood pressure is under control now and my energy levels are normal since the ASD closure.
I am still having intermittent attacks of crushing pain in both arms, (biceps) which occur unpredictably but appear to be less often now, along with tingling in my fingers, maybe twice or three times per year. The attacks are very disabling and the muscles ache for a few days afterwards.
My Doctor has no idea why I'm getting these pains. My heart is OK on an Excercise tolerance test.
Any ideas?
