My friend had a heart attack 6 months ago and had a stint put in to open the artery.  This past week he woke up with shortness of breath and a very tight chest.  He said it felt like someone was sitting on his chest.  His wife took him to the ER where they had to inject nitro into 2 arteries to open them.  While he was there his heart spasmed and then stopped.  they had to do CPR and shock him back.  He was sent to a heart hospital where they are thinking he is having heart spasms.  they prescribed (i'm not sure of the spelling) imdur and norclasc.  He came home for one day.  the next evening he started having tightness and pain in his chest.  Another trip to the ER, life-flighted to heart hospital where Dr. on call wonders if maybe he has a blood disorder.  I forgot to mention that the arm with the intrveinous became infected and he developed red spots on his legs and arms.  HELP.  We are so confused by all this.  Nobody seems to know what to do for my poor friend.  He is 47 and slim.  Dad has a heart rythm problems and is treated with meds.
