Head pressure

Hi i am a 24 year old female that is scared to death i have a brain tumor. I have been to the doctor in the past for these symptoms and he didnt seem to think any thing serious was going on he just said it was sinus problems. But i am still worried and need to know if i should get a second opinoin or if i should just see a ent. I had my eye socket, cheek bone and sinus cavity broken in an accident about 6 years ago. And fot hte past 3 years around this time of year i get this strange feeling of pressure on that side of my head and weird headaches, i see spots sometimes when its kind of overcast outside. The pain is under my eye and on the top of my head i also feel pressure on the top of my head and in my eye socket like my ears are popping. Does this not sound like symptoms of a brain tumor or can the fact that my bones were broken cause this.

Hi,

Brain tumors generally cause other neurological symptoms also apart from head pressure like tingling numbness on one side of the body, dizziness, slurred speech etc.
Your symptoms are most likely due to the multiple fractures of skull that you have sustained in the past. Other possibilities are migraine and sinusitis.

Hope this helps!

I don't believe it sounds like a brain tumor. What did your doctor do to come to conclusion that it's a sinus problem? As far as the pressure goes, it could be something as simple as a tension headache or even an allergy to something your eating or something in the air. And as far as the popping goes have you been checked for an inner ear infection? If these things bother you that much and your current doctor isn't willing to thoroughly check into it, you need to find yourself a new doc. Hope this helps.
