dx with severe atypical migraines ?

hello. one morning i woke up with a pounding headache-like someone hit me w/ a hammer. my left side arm mostly  was numb. i had expressive aphasia. i could talk but it was a mumble and slurred but i knew what i was saying. at the er the pain in my head got worse-i began throwing up. dilaudid did not help. toradol eased it slightly. ct was-, spinal tap was -, the pain and syptoms (symptoms) went away w/ in 24 hrs. 1 week to the day it happened again. er again dx with severe atypical migraine. never had headache before and never had them sense. i do get severe pressure in my head when i'm laying down at times or any time i bend down. what do you think is going on with me.

i'd see a neuro dr... I've been dxs with a pseudo tumor... had the same symptoms but my spinal tap level was very high... did they happen to tell u if u had a high level or not... I know how you feel there very painful... i was put on diamox and lasix to release the fluid and topomax (topamax) to ease the pain from it from what i understand... my neuro dr said ur spinal level is supposed to be under 15 so i'd ask what urs was... anything above that could be leading up to a pseudo tumor... i'd have a repeat if i were u...sorry if i couldn't be much more of a help....
