thank you sir for answering to my queries.. but if there was massive bleeding due to which the cavernoma was left behind, woudn't I be given blood tranfusion.. i wasn't given the doctor announced that the cavernoma was left behind after doing a ct scan the next day. the first excision mass was ,868.86 in size. whereas the mass extracted after the 2nd operation was 3cm*3cm.. can this be considered a medical negligence or lack of proper infrastructure?
THANK YOU SIR FOR answering to my queries..
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. It is difficult to say under what circumstances the cavernoma was left behind in part. Maybe you were sinking on the operation table or maybe there was massive bleeding or some other issue. Hemiparesis can develop after any brain surgery. It could be due to medical negligence, however, in most cases, it is due to brain injury caused by surgery and this is inevitable. The extent of injury varies with type and site of brain surgery. Hence, this is a debatable issue. Take care!
