Hi there. Eye flutters or twitching could be myokymia or benign fasciculatory movements, which are not associated with any specific disease. These can last for a few weeks and involve the muscles of the face. Stress, anxiety, lack of sleep is the common culprits. No specific treatment is indicated for these. You could use a warm compress applied to the eyes, a small dose of anti histamine, decreased exposure to computer screens, tvs, harsh light and monitored caffeine intake. Consult a neurologist if this fails to give relief. Take care.
