foot and leg twitches

I have from time to time where one foot, or both feet will twitch, or my legs will twitch when I am sitting down, or like last night it kept happening and kept me up most of the night. It doesnt hurt and only lasts for a second. I do not seem to have any other symptoms.

I am concerned about these being seizures, or MS or ALS.. can anyone offer some advice.

Have you consulted your physician about this?

If you aren't experiencing weakness with the twitching then I would doubt this is any ALS.  Plus, your symptoms are from "time to time."

Sounds more like BFS.  Annoying but nothing sinister.

im no expert on this issue but i have been to the doctors for the same thing only accompanied by headaches and blurred vision. Ive recently (as in this past week) have had an LP to rule out MS and im still waiting on those results. but i am told that muscle twitching is not something to worry about unless there is weakness, and that weakness would occur prior to any muscle twitching in ALS.

Have you checked your Blood Sugar levels as this could be a Diabetes thing. These twitches could be fasciculations but you will need a Neurologist to get a proper DX.
