hair loss

my grandaughter is 13 and lost alot of hair but came back and now it is doing it again. she was seen by this doc. that said it was this big long word , yes her hair came back but the doc said no need to do blood tests it would be a waste of money. what do you suggest on this

Hair loss is a symptom. There can be a number of possibilities.
It will be difficult to comment anything without knowing the cause of the hair loss. Can you narrate the history here? Can you describe the big long word the doctor told you ?
