twitching in thumb

I have had an MRI done recently on my cervical spine and come to find out I have a pinched nerve, arthirits, degenerative disk, bulging disks, and narrowing of the cervical spine..My thumb on my right hand has been twitching alot bad! It's been getting real bothersome lately! Do you think that may have to do with everything going on in my neck?
