headache after nitrous oxide

hey im a 20 year old male and was real stupid last weekend. i tried a "whip it" with my friends. its nitrous oxide like laughing gas although i dont know if its combined with oxygen like at the dentist. comes in lil small canisters and is legal. i only tried one they do many, often.

well ever since i have had a dull brain dead head ache feeling also like my ears are popping. like spacey and out of it making any deep thought difficult. this is usually not my style. i went to the doc and he said not to worry about any of that and said it was probably not related and just allergies cuz i have fluid in my ears. he gave me some meds, got sinus x rays and blood work and he said to come back next week if it still hurts.

guess im still worried. after a day of allegry meds no improvement. just worried this one dumb decision did some permanent brain damage thats gonna ruin my life. i guess looking for some advice or hope. i have bad anxiety issues as well. just wanna get over this and learn from it.. thanks!

first of all, nitrous canisters are legal to use for making whipped cream, to be administered by a dentist, or for automotive purposes, not for cracking and getting high. i know plenty of people who have been arrested at "tank parties" or at concerts for abusing nitrous.

second, nitrous kills your brain cells pretty efficiently. after a year or two of nitrous abuse you can see some serious mental degradation.

that being said, you won't get significant loss of brain function from one nitrous cracker. your doctor is probably right, so don't worry, but don't mess with that anymore. it is seriously the drug of choice for idiots.
