this is my first post. I have been having this weird heaviness in the back of my head(lower part) and my neck and shoulders hurt. i kind of feel my head being to heavy for my shoulders sometimes. Gives me nausea and I get light headed at times. I have to sit on the computer for long hours studying sometimes which is getting harder and harder day by day. please help.

Hi, this could be cervical spondylosis, hypertension etc. Get yourself investigated for cervical spondylosis. Investigations like MRI are helpful in coming to diagnosis.

For symptomatic relief try hot compressions on neck, back of the head, topical counterirritants and mild pain killers like paracetamol, ibuprofen etc.
