help 6 wait to see nuero

by weebles, Jan 19, 2008 07:32PM
hi

i have posted this question but no answer...its a six month waiting list to see a nuero in new zealand, so any advice would be apreciated........

i have been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction and secondary pudendal nerve nueroptahy (irratation)...........i am reciving botox into my pelvic floor to help relax the muscles and its working extremely well............im back to about 85% normal, with more botox to follow...............
i have however since septem last year been having burning feeling over my body like sunburn...this can be extreme or just mild it changes daily............i have also had over a month in november and december where i had no burning at all (just after i got my first botox)................i also have twitching over my body which varies daily, along with a very mild kind of shakey feeling...........my arms sometimes feel achy and dead feeling.........i i get minor cramp kind of feelings sometimes in my feet..........
first question  could this be peripheral nueropathy?  would one nerve ie the pudendal be able to send out pain throughout the rest of the peripheral nervous system............and if so will it improve as the pudendal nerve has the a chance to heal from not being as irratated/compresed

second question could it be from anxiety as i found this website on anxiety and almost everything including the sking buring feeling are also symptoms of anxiety............i am on a low dose of citroptram (20g) for an andepressent that is helping with depression but i do still have alot of anxiety and have always been a constant worrier and stressor..........www.anxietycentre.com/anxiety-symptoms.shtml

i have also jsut recieved a b12 shot and its helped a little in the burning, so i will continue to get the shots monthly.  the only thing i take is the antideprssent and occcassional supermarket pain killers/ disprin, asprin, nuerofen.

i ahve been to a chiropracctor who has adjusted my back as i was out of alignment..........he does not feel any subluxtions etc..........but when i do finally see a nuero i will get a scan i guess.

anyway any ides please
