I have been having a hard time walking during the day. I used to be occasional, but now it seems to happen more often than not. My legs feel like they way 100 lbs a piece. I have to walk about 1/5 of a mile to and from the parking lot at work. By the end of the day, its all I can do to make it to my car and when I get there I have to lift each leg manually into the car. Today I almost fell walking up the stairs because I couldn't lift my leg high enough to complete the step. What could this be?
I do think I have arthritis in my lower back, but there is no pain when I'm walking, just a feeling of heaviness. I've also noticed it in my arms after I get out of the shower and try to blow dry my hair.

I was looking online for lymphoedema and I do not having swelling. Just an overwhelming heaviness in my limbs. I can't even lift my foot completely off the ground, more often than not lately. Really worried.

The cause of your symptoms could be a primary Lymphoedema . Lymphoedema swelling is caused when localised plasma proteins leaked from arterial blood capillary walls remain trapped in the body’s soft tissues long term due to irreversible dysfunctional lymphatic drainage and consequential macrophage overload. These systems are the only two natural methods of protein removal from the soft tissues of your body In some primary lymphoedemas there can be a very gradual increase in size, but no particular pain - just a feeling of heaviness in the limb.
