Hi.

I am referring to spinal surgery. Especially for the spinal canal stenosis, the osteophyte and the narrowing of the neural foramina.

Hi.

Your spinal cord has all the reasons to be producing the symptoms of nerve compression.

The neural foramina are narrowed, the cord is flattened by the bony growth.

Have you considered surgery ?

small disc protrusion, mild hypertrophy of right facet, mild disc disiccation, narrowing of both neural foramina, also narrowinr of the right side of the canal, with spondylotic osteophyte flattening the right anterolateral aspect of the cord...bilateral nerve root diverticula...mild spondylotic disc and uncinate process hypertrophy with mild canal and bilateral foraminal stenosis at c6-7....nerve root sheath diverticula at c7-t1

Hello.

In a rear end collision, the neck gets affected, due to the sudden deceleration. When they say nothing serious, do they say there are no abnormal findings ? Any disc bulging ? A disc bulging or protrusion will press on the cord, producing symptoms. If the problem is more severe, there could be spinal canal stenosis.

Your hand numbness is also probably due to nerve root compression at the cervical spinal level.

Please let me know about the MRI report.
