migraine or ?

One month ago I developed a migraine headache and moments later I could not think clearly.I could picture in my mind what I wanted to say but could not put it into words.This went on for a few hours.I have had migraines before but not where I could not find words to talk.Should I tell my Dr.?What could this be?

Hi there. This could be a migraine and could be a transient ischemic attack. this is an episode in which one has stroke like symptoms upto 1-2 hours. It usually occurs due a clot
In the artery to brain or travelled clot to brain from other parts, narrowing of artery.  It is usually a warning sign of a true stroke if preventive action is not taken. This is caused by temporary brain blood supply to an area of brain leading to a neurological deficit. a CT head/ brain MRI, Carotid ultrasound, ekg and heart rhythm monitoring is required.
