m.r.i. of the brain

I just had an mri of the brain.  my left side (brain) wasn't directing my right arm.  The right arm thing improved, but the dr. wanted the mri anyway.  what could be the trouble?  I also have headaches a lot on the left side, especially if jarred in any way.

My right arm, when both arms are extended out in front, is heavier.  I have been having left arm spasms, only when my left side of my head hurts.  Nothing on the right side, not arm spasms, no headache.
The only headache I have today is sinus related.  I am still waiting to hear the m.r.i. results.  This wait feels intrusive, I would like to move past all of this very soon and  forget any of this happened at all.

I began to use my left arm, without thought, the left side was stronger.  I improved over time, this first began three months ago.  It seemed my brain wasn't telling my right arm what to do.  It was the oddest experience.  I rested.  My headache improved.
This began after an asthma attack where I had a short wait before inhaler use and had a lack of breathing momentarily.  I also have a spot on the left side of my head that has always been there since a skull fracture, which recently became larger.  If I jar, exercise, a slip on the snow, my headache returns.  The spot is on the top left side and is soft and doesn't seem to be significant.

Hi.

It is not clear to me if the right arm moved on its own, or if you were unable to move it even if you wished to. These are two different things. If the movement was involuntary, it could be a symptom of a partial epilepsy. And if it was the other case, some area of the brain was not functioning properly. An EEG is helpful in picking out epilepsy. An MRI may find out the reason for both.

Also, it would help if you could mention how the right arm thing improved.

Regards
