my face goes numb on the one side

Why does my face go numb sometimes?  It started feeling numb on my left side of the face when I would be in bed. I thought maybe it was because I pinched a nerve while I was sleeping.  This started about 1 month ago. Now it goes numb even when I'm awake. I don't know if it's sinus or something major. Please advise me.

Hi,
How are you? This could be due to nerve issues such as  those with paresthesia like trigeminal nerve neuralgia or due to cervical disc lesions.  If it has been one month already, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination and diagnostic tests like MRI or EMG may need to be done. Take care and do keep us posted.
