Hello
Principally you have ,so i think , two methods to reduce your pain.Realistic is ,that the pain never completely disappear.
When you describe a " burning pain " after Dupuytren-surgery ,then the reason must be a nerval leason of Nervus medianus. It could also be a scarification around this nervus and then there erupts pressure on this nervus.Eventually ,you can try to make a decompression, but the risk of new scarifications is very high.To make a nerve block is of course the last chance to get a maximum reduce of pain.
But before this takes apart,i would test a drug with the generic name "pregabalin" .In Germany and Switzerland the name is "Lyrica " . When you take this drug in a professionell scheme,i am shure you can reduce your pain from level 5 to level 2 or 3 .
With best regards
Stilicho
Anyone else out there with anything to add to this ?
My dupuytrens surgery was 7 weeks ago and I'm going through the same thing.
I'm using tramadol right now, and it does help......but not nearly enough.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
