pain and cramps in hands, feet and face

Hi, I have been experiencing numbness in my hands and feet while sleeping for about 6 months. It has now progressed to actual pain shooting in my feet and hands. The pain in my feet almost feels like i am going to get a charley horse and my husband will rub the arches of my feet, which does give some relief.  In my hands the pain goes up to my elbow and a lot of "stress" is in the pad of muscle by my thumb. My doctor is having me tested for carpel tunnel, but why would my feet also have symptoms? Now, the really scary part is that two days ago I started having some kind of weird stabbing pain on the right side of my face along my jaw line and my teeth hurt. It only lasted about 10 seconds. i have also had pain below my right ear along my jaw line. It is very sharp and painful when it happens. It almost feels like my body is cramping up and the cramping feeling in my face is really scaring me!!!! My lat muscles feel like rocks too, and my husband uses full strength to work out these knots. Could simple dehydration do this or stress? I notice some days are pretty pain free and others are full of pain. Any advice on what I might want to be tested for? I like my doctor, but unfortunately he usually only spends about 3 minutes with you. Oh, also I am overweight by about 80 pounds and my blood pressure is 158/100 which i know is high. I am just worried something more serious than carpal tunnel is going on. Thanks!!

I noted some of the other symptoms and guess what? After my staph infection and taking Cipro i got pancreatitis and they couldn't figure out what caused it. hmmmmmm still don't know what's going on with me but I will be researching this. ;)

Hi Toxic pink! Thanks for your response... I didn't realize anyone had responded. I think I did take Cipro for a severe staph infection I had last year. I will look up this site you sent. I haven't found anything out yet. What happened in your case if you don't mind me asking? Thanks
