parietal lesion

I was recently diagnosed with tmj. Prior to this my ent did a mri, non contrast, on my brain just to rule anything else out. I was found to have a 5mm lesion on my right parietal lobe. I don't think I have any other signs of anything other than the tmj stuff (which can be very odd indeed!). Does a lesion always mean a problem?  My sister has ms. I have to wait 6 months for a neurologist and am a little worried, thanks. I have had bells palsy and played alot of physical sports in my life. I am a 43 year old relatively healthy school teacher.
