I been diagnozed with p n in my legs and feet,it is also causing pain in my hipsHip joint replacement Hip pain, i am also experiencing a stinging feeling across my buttocks. How can this be treated, and what is the out look.
I had the same thing ! I had all the tests the Dr mentioned and it still came back
idiopathic..I think I had a Post Viral Syndrome...I have been getting
steroid epidural injections that work about 5 weeks a piece..I knows its a band aid
but it gives you the strength to keep going and regoup so you can heal...

It is important to identify the cause of peripheral neuropathy in your case. It can be due to vitamin B 12 deficiency, Thyroid dysfunction, and diabetes. Certain medications can also cause peripheral neuropathy. Nerve compression in the lower lumbar spine can also cause these symptoms.
I would suggest you to undergo a complete neurological evaluation as soon as you can. In the meantime you can take B complex supplements for relief and do some gentle back exercises.
