pins and needles

my husband banged his head at the front,he is having pins and needles go thru his shoulders and arms he is finding it hard to move and seems like he is in alot of pain. Do you know what it might be and what can I do to help him? thank you for your time and comments

Hello.

I suspect he has injured his neck. The neck is sensitive to sudden deceleration. There are some nerves going through the neck muscles which can get stretched with such an impact. The resultant neck muscle spasm can produce pins and needles sensation.

He must also get an MRI of the brain and cervical spine.

I hope you have taken him to the hospital!   He should be checked out and make sure he is ok.
