Severe headache for 6 weeks?

Hi, I’ve had the most dreadful headache for 6 weeks. It feels like the back of my head is going to split open at any time. Sometimes I can also feel it in my temples. I am considered legally blind, so I originally went to my eye doctor thinking it may be something vision, but she told me to go to a neurologist because she was worried about excess fluid in my brain. I went to a neurologist and told them about the headaches, and how I had a bad fall down the stairs a few months ago, and how I was born with a ton of tumors and stopped breathing as a baby. He thought it might have been migraines, so he gave me some migraine medication, which made me feel 10 times worse. I’m going to get an MRI and an MRA in a few days, but does anyone think they have any idea what it might be?
