spondyl, root compressions, numbness
MRI reveals 10+ yr.old spondyl. at L4-L5 still grade 2, however, severe facet arthropathy, severe central stenosis, and bilateral root compressions have developed at both levels, along with left foraminal/lateral L2-L3 and left foraminal L3-L4 disc protrusions without neural impingement.  I have also developed bowel control issues in the last year, and recent increased bladder leakage.  New events of the last week are once my legs went rubbery on me.  Next time they both went completely numb.  When feeling returned, from the hip downward, it was like a burning sensation, and then a "pins and needles". I am mentally ready for surgery, hoping to get rid of daily pain. I am 54, female, and a nurse. Any thoughts?
