stammering

iam 24 years old,iam suffering from stammering since my child hood.i can sing fluently and ican also talk with my parents n friends fluently,but for giving  answers to sudden questions is very difficult and also it becomes much more difficult when starting words of the sentences is k,t,f .being a student ishoud  attend to seminars group discussions.everithing becomes difficult. i got gold medal in my graduation  in one subject,but because of this problem  iam unable to answer in oral practicals because of that i lost all the other medals. i have lost all the hope in my life.iam very depressed with suicidal tendencies .please let me know is there any treatment for this habit.

It is possible that your stammering is related to anxiety. Please make sure you are not anxious and do some breathing exercises. You can also consult a speech therapist.
