stiff and heavy left foot with swollen sole

i was bedridden due to lung infection for 4 months.when i was in ventilation,a nurse gave me injection for fever in the back,below waist of my left leg.as soon as she gave me injection by left leg foot become numb and after few days of that it started paining.and soon after few days my left leg has become heavy and stiff.the sole of my left leg has swollen and become tight like a hard solid.i always feel the bulge in  sole of the left foot.i find it dificult to walk and stand and even balance.my left leg is showing no sign of improvement at all after 7 months.i walk daily,get massages  over my left foot and do some stretches everyday but still it is weak.can anyone help me out or know about my problem.....please mail me at ashwani.***@****
