tingles?

im a 23 yr old otherwise healthy female of 2 boys i was just wondering what could be causing my back to get tingles? it happens from time to time isnt painful and there is no numbness and the tingling seems to stop if i take my shirt off its been happening for a few months now on and off its really irritating i have had problems with anxiety for over a yr but i am getting control over it now i also sometimes drink....

Hi, Thank you for the question. Most likely your symptoms could be due to injury to a nerve, pressure on spinal or peripheral nerves (neuropathy), vitamin deficiency, lack of blood supply due to cholesterol plaque from atherosclerosis in the extremities, viral infection and use of certain medications.  In addition, atherosclerosis can also cause pain, numbness, and tingling while walking and they can also reduce blood supply and lead to numbness. Please consult your doctor to get all these possibilities evaluation in your case for further assessment. Hope this helps.
