tingling arm

I just recently started taking Methylin ER (Ritalin SR) 20 mg twice a day for ADD. I have no clue if the two are connected but the past 2 days I have experienced this tingling sensation in my arms. It started in my sleep where I felt this pain as if my circulation was bein cut off and my arm was bent, so I laid with it straight but it continued until it felt like pins and needles. It stopped but then started back up today while driving, my arm was also bent so I thought it had something to do with that however, it seems to stay the same even when I straighten it and stand up right. Nothing seems to help, I thought maybe it could be akathisia, a known side effect, but it doesnt really seem to fit. Any suggestions?

hi,this drug can cause dermatitis,urticaria etc.Are you on some other medicine too?.

If symptoms continue for more than a week,please see doctor for evaluation.
