HELP!!!!!!! PLEASE

HELP  4 days ago I awoke to find that I had lost the use of my right arm and hand.  After a few minutes of working my arm I got the use of it back but not my hand!!  I can not straiten my fingers or thumb and I can not straiten my wrist yet I can squeeze things and have strength in my hand.  It does not hurt and is not numb, it just hangs there limp. I can not control my hand at all.  Could I have slept on it so long that I did nerve damage?  My arm felt like it was asleep when I woke up.  Like I said, its been 4 days and I still can't use my hand.  Any ideas what it could be?  I have never had a brain injury or anything and I am only 40 and otherwise healthy.

I did go to the doctor.  Several doctors in fact.  I have had an MRI, a CT Scan, X-RAYs, and have gone to a Neurologist and have not gotten any answers.  I have an appointment on the 11th I think it is to the Neuro surgeon and hopefully he will give me some kind of answers.  The cyst is 3.8 x 3.0.  So, maybe they will let me know if it has grown or if it is any smaller.

Anyway, thanks for the response.
