I had eye twitching for months also. It still comes and goes. It is probably benign if that is your only symptom. I think stress contributes to it.
twitching stopped 4-5 days ago...spontaneously...like it never was my problem...so is it reckless if I don't go to se neurologist? it lasted for 3-4 months and suddenly dissappeared...just like it came...
DR a YOUR ANSWER WAS A TYPICAL COPY PASTE RESPONSE. IT DIDNT HELP ANYONE.
Thank you for your question. It doesn't sound serious, although without being able to examine you I can not say precisely here and you need a thorough check up by a neurologist. Hope this helps.
ok! so could it be serious? i mean it didn't get worse...it appears when I sneeze, yawn...or stuff like that...and if electrolysis caused this, what can be done to repair the damage to that nerve?
Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.
Usually, muscle twitching appears when the muscle contracts on its own (without nerve stimulation). Most of the times, short term twitching occurs without any underlying disorder or appears after viral illness or long-term illness. Most likely cause of this twitching of muscle can be when the nerve supplying to muscles is not functioning properly due to previous damage due to electrolysis or any neurological disorder. I would recommend, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the possibilities here. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
