ulnar nerve

I have no feeling in my little and ring finger in my left hand and I am losing grip strength rapidly,  I have been diagnosed in past years with Addison's  Disease and Myasthenia Gravis,  I have recently had an MRI on my neck and have a bulging disk at C6C7.  I have been in physical therapy for 5 weeks and my neck feels much better but my hand is no better.  I see gen. practioner and he says give it time.  Should I see a neurologist or orthopedist for ulnar nerve?  I am on comprter all day and have had to resort to using one hand..  Please advise

my physical therapist tried to explain to me that the ulnar nerve runs down the side of the arm from the pinky finger to the elbow(funnybone) to the upper arm(shoulder) through the back wing(scapula) to the 7th vertibrae(sp). my ortho dr. told me to stop leaning on my elbow.  but you should try to seek out a nerve conduction test(NCS) test.

hi,you should see Neurologist for loss of sensation over fingers which is most likely due to C6,7 bulge.Take care!
