Well, it does seem to be nystagmus, but may not be due to your current medication. An ophthalmologist will be able to judge the situation more correctly. You will need to consult him again. An elctronystagmogram will also be helpful.
The past medication does not seem to have caused this. Do you get any retro-orbital (back of the eye ) pain ?

im not sure if he was an ophthalmologist or an optometrist.
currently i am taking cingular, zrytec( not sure on spelling but its the one that has recently gone over the counter) and yaz birthcontrol..
these sympomes with my eye have been happening for the past six years. the medicine above i have only been taking for maybe a year to two years and cingular ive been taking on and off for about 5 years.
past medications involve ritalin(sp. for ADD) concerta, prozac( its been about a year since i last took that and prior to that it was on and off) and various anti biotics,

Have you been examined by an Ophthalmologist ?
I suspect some medication side effect. What are you taking for Depression and other disorders ? May be, one of the medicines is causing the nystagmus (involuntary movement of the eyeball).
